Hot Spiced Cider
Cloudy apple cider warmed with spices and a shot of dark rum. Autumn in a mug.

Ingredients
- 150 ml5 ozCloudy apple cider (unfiltered apple juice)
- 40 ml1ā ozDark rum
- 10 mlā ozCinnamon syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick, 3 cloves1 cinnamon stick, 3 clovesMulling spices (cinnamon stick, cloves, star anise)
Makes one drink, about 200 ml before ice.
Method
- Warm the heatproof glass with hot water, then tip it out.
- Warm everything gently in a small pan until steaming. Don't let it boil.
- Pour into the warm heatproof glass.
- Garnish: cinnamon stick and orange slice.
